This past weekend was Round 4 of the 2024 F1 Calendar; The Japanese Grand Prix held at the Suzuka International Racing Course. The winner of the race is Max Verstappen, 2nd place, Serigo Perez, and 3rd, Carlos Sainz. Red Bull had a first row lock going into the race on Sunday. But for their second team, Visa Cash App RB Formula One Team, was a different circumstance. It was driver Yuki Tsunoda’s home race. But second driver, Daniel Ricciardo, it was a race he did not hope for. He missed Qualifying 3 by thousandths of a second to his teammate, Yuki, which placed Ricciardo 11th on the grid for the race. Which was a difficult start to his weekend. The question in the F1 World is, does
Daniel deserve to keep his spot at RB, or does Liam Lawson, RB reserve driver take his spot for the remaining of the races of the season? Daniel is a well known driver in the F1 world, winning races in past years. The past couple of years have been rough for Daniel. This past weekend, Daniel did not finish the race due to a collision with Williams Driver, Alex Albon. Hopefully in future races, Daniel can prove himself capable of keeping his seat at Visa Cash App RB Formula One Team.
