Isabella Hopkins is doing a lab in the new class taught by Mr. Raymond; Medical Chemistry. In this lab, students measured the height, length, and width of an assigned block. Then with a scale, they weighed the blocks, getting the mass. Next they would calculate the volume of the block with the equation Length x Width x Height. Lastly, to get the density of the block, students divided mass / volume. The goal of this lab was to learn how to calculate the volume and density of an object, while also learning the rules around measurements.
