Mr. Doigny

Mr.+Doigny

On November 17, 2023, I interviewed Mr. Doigny, a teacher at Alhambra that has taught for 24 years so far. He’s taught classes such as economics, modern world, marketing, computer applications (1 and 2), U.S history, and civics.

Q: What is something significant to you not many people know? (hobby/opinion)

A: “I like soccer, and the walking dead.”

Q: What is something you want students to gain from your class?

A: “To learn something, knowledge.”

Q: What’s your definition of a good/productive school day?

A: “Getting through my lessons well, making sure my students get their work done, stay on task, and get some grading done.”

Q: Why do you collect funko pops?

A: “I like to collect things every once in a while and that was my new thing. They’re kinda cool looking or cute and there’s a lot of star wars ones.”

Q: If you could be an emoji, which would you be?

A: “What’s an emoji? LOL. I’d be a soccer ball or smiley face emoji. ⚽😁 ”
