Tuesday Jan 28th was the last home dual for Alhambra’s Wrestling team and it did not disappointThe Dogs wrestled Benicia high
school and it was a hard fought couple of matches. This was also their senior night with the Dogs having five seniors that they
were sending off. The dual ended with a score of 31-36 and it came down to the very last couple of matches with Julean Baker had
an amazing double overtime win 11-5. Even with three forfeits adding up to 18 free points to Benicia the team still got pins to tie it
up and stay in the fifth to the very end, there were even some cheerleaders that showed up to cheer on the wrestling team. All that
is left is for our Alhambra wrestlers is to take on the league tournament February 10th to make it to NCS.
