TUPE Field Trip to UC Berkeley

Mr. Mathers and Mrs. Harris chaperoned a field trip to UC Berkeley in Santa Rosa for the Tobacco Use Prevention Education program, ( also known as TUPE ). Our students were given the opprotunity to help inform our peers on why they should not use any tobacco products. TUPE has seven Alhambra representatives, Aimee Truong, Kaitlyn Bit, Araceli Lopez-Mano, Izzy Hopkins, Kaiya Yasaki, Asher Wilson, and  Alyssa Lopez. Here is what Izzy Hopkins thought of the trip, “I loved to learn about the brain and how it responds to alcohol, vaping, and smoking habits. My favorite part of the trip was when Asher, Mr. Mathers, and I ate that incredible strawberry ( can’t believe we went in for seconds).
